Melinda Collins is a Director of MLC and Associates which specialises in Aged Care, Clinical and Quality. Melinda is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years Clinical experience focusing on Best Practice and Person-centred Care. Having worked across acute care, Community and the Aged Care Sector, Melinda has developed the ability to support staff and services to ensure compliance. Early in her career Melinda’s skills and ability was recognised when she was the recipient of a scholarship to review nursing practices throughout the UK and her findings were published in a nursing journal. Melinda now specialises in compliance and Best Practice within Aged Care and has supported a number of residential aged care facilities to return to compliance with aged care quality standards after imposition of sanctions or being issued with notices of non-compliance.
